Main Ingredients

Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning. Mix well until combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon filet in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place it skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then carefully flip and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot, optionally with lemon wedges on the side.
