Vegetables & Cheese

Omelet Base

Method

Marinating the Beef

  1. 1

    Prepare Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, ground turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate Beef

Add the beef strips to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.

Cooking the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add a teaspoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking the Omelet

  1. 4

    Prepare Egg Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 5

    Cook Omelet

In the same skillet used for the vegetables, add butter and melt over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture, tilting the pan to ensure even coverage. Allow to cook for about 2-3 minutes until the edges begin to set.

  3. 6

    Add Beef and Cheese

Once the edges are set, add the marinated beef strips, sautéed vegetables, and shredded Swiss cheese to one half of the omelet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the omelet is fully cooked.

  4. 7

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelet in half over the filling, slide it onto a plate, and top with crumbled feta cheese. Serve warm.
