Preparing the Salad Base

Wash and Dry Greens
In a large bowl, add the mixed greens and rinse them under cold water. Use a salad spinner to dry them thoroughly or pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Prepare Vegetables
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Thinly slice the red onion. Peel and shred the carrot or cut it into thin matchsticks.

Combine Salad Ingredients
In the bowl with the dried mixed greens, add the sliced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and shredded carrot. Toss gently to combine.
Making the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl or jar, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper.

Dress the Salad
Pour the vinaigrette over the salad mixture. Toss gently to ensure all the ingredients are coated with the dressing.
