Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chop

Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Pork Chops

Soak mesquite wood chips in water for 30 minutes, then place them in a smoker or on a grill. Smoke the pork chops for about 1 hour, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 3

    Prepare Charro Beans

If using canned charro beans, heat them in a saucepan. If using cooked beans, season them with salt and spices to taste.

  4. 4

    Make Cilantro Rice

Cook rice according to package instructions, then stir in chopped cilantro and season with salt.

  5. 5

    Prepare Agave Chili Oil

In a small bowl, mix agave syrup with chili powder and a splash of olive oil. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the smoked pork chop alongside the charro beans and cilantro rice. Drizzle the agave chili oil over the pork chop and enjoy!
