Method
Preparing the Rockfish

Marinate the Fish
Place the rockfish fillets in a bowl and pour buttermilk over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Coat the Fish
In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, salt, and black pepper. Remove the rockfish from the buttermilk and coat each fillet in the flour mixture.

Fry the Fish
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated rockfish into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Yuca
Peel the yuca and cut it into 1-inch pieces. Boil in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and let cool.

Fry the Yuca
Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Fry the cooled yuca pieces until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
Making the Garlic Aioli

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until well combined and set aside.
