Hibiscus Tea Preparation

Prepare Hibiscus Tea
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Strain and Cool
After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and strain the hibiscus tea through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl. Allow it to cool completely.
Margarita Preparation

Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of the cooled hibiscus tea, 1 cup of tequila, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, 1 tablespoon of agave syrup, and 1 tablespoon of triple sec.

Shake Well
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare Glass
On a small plate, pour a little salt. Rub the rim of your serving glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the salt to coat.

Serve
Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Optionally, garnish with a lime wheel or a few dried hibiscus flowers.
