In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the mixture is well combined and heated through.

Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is cooking, preheat your oven according to the taco shell package instructions. Arrange the taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
Assembling the Tacos

Fill Taco Shells
Once the taco shells are ready, spoon the ground beef mixture into each shell. Top with refried beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sour cream as desired.

Open the bag of tortilla chips and place them in a serving bowl.

Pour salsa into a small serving bowl for dipping.
