Prepare Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it blooms.

Heat Cream Mixture
In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is just about to boil.

Combine Ingredients
Remove the saucepan from heat, and stir in the bloomed gelatin and vanilla extract until fully dissolved.

Pour into Molds
Pour the mixture into individual ramekins or molds. Allow to cool for a bit at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Cool Sauce
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. You can mash the berries slightly for a smoother sauce if desired.

Serve
Once the panna cotta has set, carefully unmold it onto plates and drizzle with the mixed berry sauce before serving.
