Negroni Recipe

Preparation

   Gather your ingredients

   Ensure you have gin, sweet vermouth, Campari, ice cubes, and an orange peel or slice ready for mixing.

   Fill the mixing glass

   Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice cubes to chill the ingredients properly.

   Measure and pour the spirits

   Pour 1 oz each of gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari into the mixing glass over the ice.

   Stir the mixture

   Use a bar spoon to stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds, allowing the ingredients to chill and blend.

   Strain into a glass

   Take a lowball glass and fill it with fresh ice cubes. Strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the lowball glass.

   Garnish with orange

   Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and then place it in the glass as a garnish. Alternatively, you can add an orange slice.
