Method

Crostini Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Baguette

Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 2

    Brush with Olive Oil

Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.

  3. 3

    Season with Salt and Pepper

Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the baguette slices.

  4. 4

    Toast the Crostini

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the baguette slices for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden and crisp, flipping halfway through.

Topping Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Figs

Wash the fresh figs and slice them into quarters.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Crostini

Once the crostini are toasted, remove them from the oven. Place a generous spoonful of burrata cheese on each slice.

  3. 7

    Add Figs and Vincotto

Top the burrata with the sliced figs and drizzle a small amount of vincotto over each crostini.

  4. 8

    Garnish with Basil

Finish by garnishing each crostini with fresh basil leaves.
