Crostini Preparation

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.

Season with Salt and Pepper
Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the baguette slices.

Toast the Crostini
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the baguette slices for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden and crisp, flipping halfway through.
Topping Assembly

Prepare the Figs
Wash the fresh figs and slice them into quarters.

Assemble the Crostini
Once the crostini are toasted, remove them from the oven. Place a generous spoonful of burrata cheese on each slice.

Add Figs and Vincotto
Top the burrata with the sliced figs and drizzle a small amount of vincotto over each crostini.

Finish by garnishing each crostini with fresh basil leaves.
