Açaí Base (per bowl)

Crunch & Grain Toppings

Fresh Fruit Toppings

Method

Açaí Base (per bowl)

  1. 1

    Blend base

Add the frozen açaí purée (6 oz), frozen mixed berries (1 cup), half a banana (about 0.5 cups mashed) and 60 ml unsweetened almond milk to a high-speed blender. Add 1 tablespoon honey or agave if you prefer a sweeter bowl. Secure lid.

  2. 2

Blend on high in 20–30 second pulses, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture is thick, smooth and spoonable (similar to soft-serve). If the blend is too thick, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time; if too thin, add a few more frozen berries or a small ice cube and pulse to firm up.

  3. 3

Transfer the açaí blend into a chilled bowl, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon to create an even surface for toppings.

Crunch & Grain Toppings

  1. 4

Sprinkle 1/2 cup granola evenly over one side of the açaí bowl to provide crunch.

  2. 5

Scatter 2 tablespoons toasted coconut flakes over the granola and exposed base for texture and flavor.

Fresh Fruit Toppings

  1. 6

Arrange 1/2 cup sliced banana in a fan or rows on one portion of the bowl.

  2. 7

Place 1/4 cup sliced strawberries next to the banana and scatter 1/4 cup blueberries to fill in remaining space. Use fresh fruit to create color contrast and varied texture.

Seeds & Nut Butters

  1. 8

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon chia seeds over the fruit and granola for a nutritional boost.

  2. 9

Spoon 1 tablespoon crushed roasted almonds or drizzle 1 tablespoon almond butter over the bowl for added richness and crunch.

Optional Drizzles & Extras

  1. 10

Warm peanut or almond butter slightly (10–15 seconds in microwave) so it is pourable, then drizzle 1 tablespoon over the bowl in thin lines.

  2. 11

Finish with 1 teaspoon honey or agave drizzled lightly across the top and a sprinkle of 1/2 teaspoon hemp seeds or bee pollen if using.

  3. 12

Serve immediately with a spoon so the açaí retains its thick, cold texture.
