Method
Base Smoothie (frozen/acai blend)
- 1
Prepare frozen fruit
Measure out frozen açaí purée, frozen mixed berries, and frozen banana. If your açaí comes in hard blocks, run briefly under warm water to loosen sachet and break into pieces.
- 2
Blend to thick consistency
Add the frozen açaí, frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, and 120 ml almond milk to a high-speed blender. Add 1 tablespoon honey or agave. Pulse on high for 15–30 seconds, stopping and scraping the sides as needed. Goal: a very thick, spoonable smoothie — add more milk 1 tablespoon at a time only if needed to reach a scoopable consistency.
- 3
Check texture and adjust sweetness
Taste a small spoonful and add up to 1 more teaspoon honey/agave if you want sweeter. If too thin, add a few ice cubes or 1–2 tablespoons more frozen banana and re-blend briefly.
- 4
Spoon the thick açaí base into bowls, dividing evenly for the number of servings specified.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup granola over each bowl (adjust to preference). Evenly distribute hemp seeds, chia seeds, and desiccated coconut across the bowls for texture and nutrition.

Serve

Serve immediately with a spoon. Encourage eating right away — the thicker the base, the better the texture. Leftover açaí base can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 1 week; thaw slightly and re-blend before serving.
