1. Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the okra thoroughly and trim the ends. Chop the onion and tomatoes, and mince the garlic.

2. Cook the Meat

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.

3. Add Ground Meat

Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

4. Incorporate Tomatoes and Spices
