Mayo and Assembly
Method
Prepare Turkey
- 1
- 2
Prepare Cranberry Sauce
If using homemade cranberry sauce, prepare it by simmering fresh cranberries, sugar, and water until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens. Allow it to cool before assembling.
Make Stuffing
- 3
Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add diced celery and onion, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, bread cubes, chicken broth, sage, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the bread is evenly coated.
- 5
Bake Stuffing
Transfer the stuffing mixture to a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.
Assemble The Hot Bobbie®
- 6
Spread Mayo
Slice the sandwich rolls in half. Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on the inside of each roll.
- 7
Layer Ingredients
On the bottom half of each roll, layer sliced grilled turkey, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, and a scoop of stuffing.
- 8
Finish Sandwich
Place the top half of the roll on each sandwich to close. Optionally, you can grill the assembled sandwiches for a few minutes until the bread is toasted.
