Prepare Blackberry Puree
If you don't have premade blackberry puree, blend fresh blackberries in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.

Juice the Limes
Squeeze fresh limes to extract the juice needed for the cocktail.
Mixing the Cocktail

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Uncle Nearest Bourbon, 1 oz of blackberry puree, and 1 oz of fresh lime juice.

Add Mint
Gently tear the fresh mint leaves and add them to the shaker. This will release their essential oils.

Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or over ice in a rocks glass.
