Mix Meatball Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

Shape the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.

Add Seasoning
Stir in the fresh basil and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.

Combine Meatballs with Sauce
Once the meatballs are done baking, transfer them to the skillet with the sauce. Stir gently to coat the meatballs with the sauce and let them cook together for an additional 5 minutes.
