Wagyu Beef

Method

Prepare the Wagyu Beef

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the Wagyu beef with salt and black pepper. Once the skillet is hot, add the beef and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the desired doneness is achieved. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Make the Coleslaw

  1. 2

    Combine Coleslaw Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Assemble the Sub

  1. 3

    Build the Sub

Slice the sub rolls in half and spread a tablespoon of mayo on each side. Layer the sliced Wagyu beef on the bottom half of the roll, followed by a slice of provolone cheese. Top generously with the coleslaw and drizzle with Russian dressing. Place the top half of the roll on and press down gently.
