Brew the Espresso

Using an espresso machine, brew two shots of espresso and set aside.

Prepare the Milk

In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. If you have a milk frother, use it to froth the milk until it's creamy and light.

Combine Ingredients

In a large glass, add the brewed espresso, vanilla syrup (or chocolate syrup for mocha), and ice cubes. Pour the frothed milk over the top, mixing gently to combine.

Garnish

Top with whipped cream if desired and drizzle with additional vanilla or chocolate syrup.
