Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Lobster Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Lobster

While the pasta is cooking, steam the lobster claws for about 10 minutes until they are fully cooked. Remove the meat from the claws and chop into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

Cheese Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes to create a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add the Cheese

Reduce the heat to low and add the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese to the sauce. Stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.

  3. 5

    Season the Sauce

Stir in the truffle oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to incorporate all flavors.

Combine and Bake

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and chopped lobster meat. Mix until everything is well coated.

  2. 7

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish.

  3. 8

    Add Toppings

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese together. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the mac and cheese. Drizzle with additional truffle oil if desired.

  4. 9

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

Serve

  1. 10

    Serve the Dish

Once baked, let the Lobster Mac & Cheese cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
