Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the Alberta AAA Angus beef patty with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patty is cooking, wash and prepare the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Slice the tomato and onion into thin slices.

  3. 3

    Toast the Bun

Optionally, toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked Angus patty. Add the tomato slices and onion slices. Spread spicy mayo on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the assembled burger.

  2. 5

    Add Optional Toppings

If desired, add a slice of cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon on top of the patty before adding the top bun.
