Ingredients

Chicken Bites

Dipping Sauce (Optional)

Preparation

Preparing the Chicken Bites

1. Cut the Chicken

Start by cutting the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1 inch in size.

2. Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and add the breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

3. Bread the Chicken

Coat each piece of chicken first in the flour, shaking off any excess, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the breaded chicken bites on a plate.

Frying the Chicken Bites

4. Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles, it's ready.

5. Fry the Chicken Bites

Carefully place the breaded chicken bites into the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

6. Drain and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicken bites from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Preparing the Dipping Sauce (Optional)

7. Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine ketchup, honey, mustard, and hot sauce. Stir until well blended and adjust the seasoning to taste.
