Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon Patty

In a food processor, combine the salmon fillet, breadcrumbs, egg, dill, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky. Form into 2 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 3

    Make the Preserved Lemon Mayo

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the finely chopped preserved lemon. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the potato buns if desired. Spread preserved lemon mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Top with local greens, a salmon patty, and slices of red onion. Place the top half of the bun on top and serve immediately.
