For the Pull-Apart Rolls

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a small bowl, warm the milk until it's just lukewarm. Add the sugar and the yeast, stirring gently. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  4. 4

    Shape the Rolls

Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them close together in a greased baking dish.

  5. 5

    Second Rise

Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Bake the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush them with melted butter and sprinkle with Bull’s Bay Sea Salt.

  7. 7

    Serve

Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm with pumpkin & caramelized onion butter.
