Pitza Dough

Method

Prepare the Dough

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 5

    Cook the Chicken

Season the chicken breast with cumin, salt, and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and let it rest before slicing.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add kale, asparagus, and spinach. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Assemble and Bake

  1. 7

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 8

    Roll Out the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 9

    Add Toppings

Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the sautéed vegetables evenly over the dough, followed by the sliced chicken. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  4. 10

    Bake the Pitza

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

  5. 11

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
