Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the chicken or pork into thin strips. Trim the ends of the string beans and cut them into 2-inch pieces.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- 3
Cook the Meat
Add the sliced chicken or pork to the skillet and stir-fry until the meat is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Add the Curry Paste
Stir in the red curry paste and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 5
Add String Beans
Add the string beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
- 6
Finish with Coconut Milk
Pour in the coconut milk, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir to combine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 7
Add Basil
Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil leaves before serving.
