Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, imitation crab meat, chopped chives, chopped parsley, sweet chili sauce, and soy sauce. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- 2
Fill the Wontons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add a tablespoon of the crab filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to create a triangle, and seal the edges tightly. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Fry the Bao
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the filled wontons in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve
Serve the crispy Crab Rangoon Bao hot with extra sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
