Preparation

1

Prepare the green beans

Wash the fresh green beans under cold running water. Trim the ends of the beans by cutting off about 1 inch from each end.

2

Mince the garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and finely mince them using a knife or a garlic press.

Cooking

3

Sauté the garlic

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to burn it.

4

Add the green beans

Add the prepared green beans to the skillet with the sautéed garlic. Stir to combine and coat the beans with the garlic butter.

5

Cook the green beans

Sauté the green beans for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender-crisp and bright green. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
