Method
Prepare the Fish

Marinate the Fish
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Coat the Fish
Place the fish fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Make sure the fish is evenly coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Cook the Spaghetti

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Cook Spaghetti
Once the water is boiling, add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Drain and Set Aside
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water for later use.
Cook the Fish

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little olive oil if necessary and heat until shimmering.

Garnish
Once cooked, remove the fish from the skillet and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Combine and Serve

Toss Spaghetti
In the same skillet used for the fish, add the cooked spaghetti and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss to combine and heat through.

Serve
Plate the spaghetti and top it with the cooked fish. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the top before serving.
