Preparation of Salad Base

Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.

Add Parmesan Cheese
Using a vegetable peeler or grater, shave or grate the Parmesan cheese over the chopped romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.

Add Croutons
Sprinkle the croutons evenly over the lettuce and cheese mixture.
Preparation of Dressing

Mix Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, anchovy paste, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk together until well blended.

Add Olive Oil
Slowly drizzle the olive oil into the dressing mixture while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing.

Add salt and black pepper to the dressing according to your taste preferences, and whisk again to combine.

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the prepared dressing over the salad base in the large bowl. Gently toss the salad using tongs or a large spoon to ensure that all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
