Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Tuna

Cut the sushi-grade tuna into small cubes, approximately 1/4 inch in size. Make sure to use a sharp knife to ensure clean cuts.

2

Make the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice. Stir well until all ingredients are mixed together.

3

Marinate the Tuna

Add the cubed tuna to the mixing bowl with the marinade. Toss gently to coat the tuna evenly. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

4

Prepare the Avocado

While the tuna is marinating, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Cut the avocado into small cubes.

5

Chop the Green Onions

Finely chop the green onions, using both the white and green parts.

6

Assemble the Tartare

In serving bowls or plates, start by placing a layer of cubed avocado at the bottom. Top with the marinated tuna mixture and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

7

Serve

Serve immediately while fresh, optionally with additional Sriracha or soy sauce on the side.
