Method

For the Beef Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Burger

Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked beef patty, sliced tomato, and top with the other half of the bun.

For the Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Cook the Fries

Preheat an oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
