Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus and rinse them under cold water. Pat dry.

  2. 2

    Cook the Asparagus

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  4. 4

    Pan-Seal the Salmon

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.

  5. 5

    Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

Reduce the heat to low and add the butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice to the skillet. Stir until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the salmon fillets with the sautéed asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus. Serve immediately.
