A traditional old fashioned with bourbon and bitters.

Place a sugar cube in an old fashioned glass. Add the bitters and water to the glass and muddle until the sugar is dissolved.

Fill the glass with ice cubes and pour the bourbon over the ice.

Stir gently to combine. Garnish with the orange peel and a maraschino cherry.
