Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, remove it from the skillet and place it on paper towels to drain excess grease. Once cool, chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Boil the Eggs

In a pot, bring water to a boil, then gently add the eggs. Boil for 9-12 minutes, depending on how well-done you prefer the yolks. After boiling, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool before peeling and chopping.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Greens

Chop the iceberg and romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. In a large salad bowl, combine the iceberg, romaine, and field greens.

  4. 4

    Add the Toppings

Dice the tomatoes and add them to the salad bowl. Also, add the chopped bacon, chopped eggs, craisins, and blue cheese.

  5. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients. Serve immediately.
