Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spinach Cream

In a saucepan, sauté minced garlic in a little olive oil until fragrant. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.

  2. 2

    Make the Garlic Cheese Topping

In a bowl, mix grated Parmesan cheese with garlic powder. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Pangrattato

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and cook until golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 4

    Assemble the Oysters

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place shucked oysters on a baking sheet. Spoon the spinach cream mixture over each oyster.

  2. 5

    Top with Cheese and Pangrattato

Sprinkle the garlic cheese topping evenly over the spinach-covered oysters, then add a layer of pangrattato on top.

  3. 6

    Bake the Oysters

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the topping is golden and the oysters are heated through.
