BBQ Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if necessary.

  2. 2

    Make the Rub

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribs, ensuring to cover all surfaces.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. In a separate bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Brush half of this mixture over the ribs, reserving the other half for later. Cover the ribs tightly with another layer of aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze and Finish

Remove the foil and brush the remaining BBQ sauce mixture over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
