Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Fries
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- 2
Bake the Fries
Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- 3
Cook the Steak
While the fries are baking, season the hanger steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil, and sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

- 5
Heat the Demi-Glace
In the same skillet, pour in the veal demi-glace and simmer for a few minutes until warmed through.
- 6
Assemble the Plate
On a serving plate, arrange the seasoned fries, add the sliced hanger steak, drizzle with veal demi-glace, and serve the mixed greens on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley.
