Cooking the Spaghetti

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt.

Cook Spaghetti
Add spaghetti to boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Marinara Sauce

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Making the Meatballs

Form Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cook Meatballs
In a skillet, brown meatballs on all sides. Then, add them to the marinara sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
Bringing It All Together

Combine Spaghetti and Sauce
Toss the cooked spaghetti with the marinara sauce and meatballs until well combined.

Serve hot, topped with grated Romano cheese and a slice of garlic bread on the side.
