Cooking Directions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add additional Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
