Ingredients for Rotisserie Beef Sirloin

Method

Directions for Rotisserie Beef Sirloin

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Preheat your rotisserie or oven to 350°F (175°C). Rub the beef sirloin tip with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Make sure to coat it evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Place the seasoned beef sirloin in the rotisserie and cook for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare. Rotate occasionally for even cooking.

  3. 3

    Make the Mushroom Glacé

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown. Pour in the beef broth and red wine, and add fresh thyme. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the sauce is reduced by half, about 15-20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Slice and Serve

Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the rotisserie and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve the sliced beef with the mushroom glacé drizzled on top.
