Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the potatoes into wedges or strips to make fries. Toss them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chopped Steak

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the Beyond Meat ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Shape into a patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes on each side until firm.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Toppings

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened and caramelized.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a separate pan, add a little olive oil and sauté the fresh green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Place the chopped steak on a plate, top with the grilled onions and mushrooms, and drizzle with vegan gravy. Serve alongside the hand-cut fries and sautéed green beans.
