Method

Preparation of Meat

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Belly

Cut the pork belly into small cubes. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sausage

Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Steak

Cut the steak into strips and season with salt and black pepper. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Pork Belly

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the pork belly cubes and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 5

    Cook the Sausage

In the same skillet, add the sausage pieces and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside with the pork belly.

  3. 6

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed. Add the steak strips and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes for medium rare. Combine with the pork belly and sausage.

Preparing Sides

  1. 7

    Prepare the Criolla Potato

Peel and cut the criolla potatoes into small pieces. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 8

    Fry the Arepa Chips

In a separate pan, heat oil for frying. Fry the arepa chips until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

On a large serving platter, arrange the pork belly, sausage, steak, criolla potatoes, and arepa chips. Serve immediately and enjoy!
