Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Brown the Meat
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 8-10 minutes.
- 4
Add Tomatoes and Wine
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- 5
Simmer the Sauce
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- 6
Combine and Serve
Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
