Ingredients for French Toasted Brioche

Method

Directions for Preparing French Toasted Brioche

  1. 1

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

  2. 2

    Soak the Brioche

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Dip each slice of brioche in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Place the soaked brioche in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining slices, adding more butter as needed.

  3. 3

    Grill the Bananas

While the brioche is cooking, slice the bananas in half lengthwise. In another skillet, grill the bananas cut-side down until caramelized, about 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Rosewater Mascarpone

In a small bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese with rosewater until smooth and well combined.

  6. 6

    Plate and Serve

On a plate, stack the French toasted brioche, top with grilled banana, crispy bacon, and a dollop of rosewater mascarpone. Drizzle with maple syrup to taste. Serve immediately.
