Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Halloumi

Cut the Halloumi cheese into 1 cm thick slices.

  2. 2

    Mix the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and lemon juice.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Halloumi

Place the Halloumi slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Grill the Halloumi

Place the marinated Halloumi slices on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and grill marks appear.

Serving

  1. 6

    Drizzle and Garnish

Once grilled, remove the Halloumi from the grill and place on a serving plate. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chili flakes. Top with chopped fresh parsley for garnish.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot, alongside a fresh salad or as part of a mezze platter.
