Salad Components

Method

Prepare Garlic Crème Fraiche

  1. 1

    Make the Garlic Crème Fraiche

In a small bowl, combine crème fraîche, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Prepare Salad Components

  1. 2

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the fresh mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and set aside. Thinly slice the dill pickles and red onion. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled. Grate the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese finely.

  2. 3

    Assemble the Dish

In a serving dish, layer the sliced fresh mozzarella, dill pickles, and red onion. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top and finish with grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and chopped fresh dill. Drizzle with the prepared garlic crème fraiche over the salad components.
