Sliders Assembly

Method

Meatballs Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Mix the Meatball Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Shape the Meatballs

Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  4. 4

    Bake the Meatballs

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Sliders Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Sliders

Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Sliders

Slice the slider buns in half. On each bottom half, place a meatball, top with a spoonful of marinara sauce, and a slice of provolone cheese.

  3. 7

    Melt the Cheese

Return the assembled sliders to the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil, then place the top half of the bun on each slider. Serve warm.
