Bread

Garlic Butter

Optional Toppings

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's hot enough for baking the garlic bread.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a medium bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic cloves, chopped fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Assemble

  1. 3

    Slice the Baguette

Take the French baguette and slice it in half lengthwise, creating two long pieces. If desired, you can also slice it into smaller pieces for easier serving.

  2. 4

    Spread the Garlic Butter

Generously spread the prepared garlic butter mixture onto the cut sides of the baguette. Make sure to cover the entire surface for maximum flavor.

Bake

  1. 5

    Bake the Garlic Bread

Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the butter is bubbly.

  2. 6

    Add Optional Toppings

If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top of the garlic butter before baking for an extra layer of flavor.

Serve

  1. 7

    Cut and Serve

Once baked, remove the garlic bread from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute. Cut into slices if not pre-sliced, and serve warm.
