Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Slice the Mushrooms and Shallots
Clean the cremini mushrooms and slice them thinly. Peel and finely chop the shallots.
- 3
Chop the Parsley
Finely chop the fresh parsley and set it aside for garnish.
Cooking
- 4
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.

- 6
Deglaze with Marsala Wine
Pour in the Marsala wine and stir to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- 7
Combine Ingredients
Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, and add the unsalted butter. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors and the sauce to thicken slightly.
- 8
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the chicken marsala before serving. Enjoy with your choice of side!
