Chicken

Method

Prepare Chicken

  1. 1

    Season Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    Cook Chicken

Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Rest Chicken

Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for a few minutes before slicing.

Make JoeFredo Sauce

  1. 5

    Sauté Garlic

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 6

    Add Cream

Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer while stirring frequently.

  3. 7

    Incorporate Cheese and Seasoning

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Cook Pasta

  1. 8

    Cook Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. 9

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Drain the pasta and add it directly to the skillet with the JoeFredo sauce. Toss to combine.

Combine and Serve

  1. 10

    Plate Chicken

Slice the rested chicken breasts and place them on top of the pasta and sauce mixture.

  2. 11

    Garnish and Serve

Serve warm, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
